Hungry too often - HELP!

I can't get full.

I'm never satisfied.

I don't know what's going on with me lately. I'm hungry ALL. THE. TIME. It's not my emotions this time. Things have been good lately. I'm just genuinely hungry.

The result -- I just came home and ate an entire box of kraft dinner.

All 22 points of it.

WTF!!!!

(Don't worry, I'm still on point thanks again to my extra weekly WW PointsPlus)

Now I know I should have probably ate something a tad more nutritious, but what can I say?  I had a craving.  I planned to eat two portion thinking that would be more than enough. Instead I ate four.

SO. NOT. GOOD!

I feel like I've been fighting this 'hungry all the time' feeling for the last few weeks and let me tell you, it's making dieting so challenging.   I'm still determined and motivated don't worry about that, but feeling hungry all the time is just getting annoying.

I'm not sure why it's happening.

First off, it's not because of TOM. He just came and went. Secondly, I already drink a lot of water. I take a water bottle to work and drink a ton throughout the day. The other day I drank around 3L. I ended up going to the bathroom A LOT and I was still hungry. On top of getting regular protein from eggs, and cheese etc.... (I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian),  I also try to eat a protein bar or shake (22g protein) at least once a day. Sometimes it helps, but not lately. Bananas have been my life saver, but sadly I don't have any in the house at the moment. Bananas are zero points, but I swear I'm going to turn into a monkey if I eat any more in one day.

I'm just not sure what's going on. Do I need more fibre? Even more protein? Even more water?  Maybe. I seriously need to buy more fruit and veggies to snack on to help fill me up so I don't dip into any more weekly points. I say that though but today I had a huge fruit salad for lunch and still managed to go over my points. ugh....

I fear this feeling will continue. I also fear I'll have even more trouble handling it as I lose more weight. As my weight goes down, my daily PointsPlus target will also go down. This means I may have to dip into my weekly points to cover my daily eats even more. As a result, if I end up having more days like tonight going forward, my weekly points may not cover me. That scares me, as that is when I'm at risk of falling off the wagon. As I said, feeling hungry all the time is annoying and one can only handle it for so long.

So what can I do? ugh.... I'm really not sure. HELP! (no seriously HELP!)

For now I'm going to use distraction and see if that helps. Ta-Ta... I'm off to watch The Walking Dead.

Cheese

OH NO.....

*head down in shame*

You know when you cut the mold off your brick of cheese and toss it away? Well my small green bin that I keep under my sink was air drying, so I put it on the counter and then cut new cheese for myself to eat. Then I made a sandwich including  cheese. Then I ate my sandwich. Now my moldy piece of cheese is gone....

 Oh dear god....

 I ATE IT....

EEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Nasty!!!!!!

So. Not. Cool!

How did I not notice I added the bad piece of cheese to my sandwich?

Wake the F**K up Sonya!!!!!

Pray for me that  I'm not hugging a toilet in about an hour!!!!

That's what I get for eating cheese when really I shouldn't be at all

Damn cheese addiction!

Six Months of Veggies!

Six months ago today animals thanked me everywhere.

Today I celebrate six months of vegetarianism!  Can you believe it? Six months!

Happy Veggie-Head Anniversary to me!

I love my new lifestyle and don't plan to give it up anytime soon! :-)

Do I really Want it?

Learning to run has reminded me that if I set my mind to something, I can do it. Through determination, will and drive I can accomplish any goal I set for myself. Nine weeks ago running 5K seemed impossible, but  it was my goal I set for myself and I did it. I plan to do it again today as well. Week 9, run 2,  here I come. So now why the hell is it that when I set a weight loss goal, I can't have the same success? I've reached every goal I've set for myself in recent years. Move out on my own, landing a job that I wanted and love, bought a house on my own, graduated from university etc..etc..., but this damn weight loss goal I just can't seem to tackle.

I tried to 'Dr. Phil' think a bit tonight and ask myself...is being fat working for me? It must be in some regards because I'm not changing. I don't have that drive, determination or will to huncker down and calorie count and loss this freak'in weight once and for all. As I thought more and more I came to realize that perhaps my weight has become my security blanket. If I truly begin to shed the pounds and separate myself from my 'blanket" I'm valnerable  to possibilities that perhaps scare me. I'm not going to get into details, but I'm sure you get what I mean.

I'm confident in many aspects of my life. I'm smart and successful, but when it comes to weight loss, I'm a failure. I feel like I'm not strong enough to getter done. With that being said though, I know I have begun to make positive changes in my life and people are noticing. People have even called me an inspiration. Me! An inspiration. HA! That is shocking! It does feel good though to hear coworkers say they thought of me as they went out for a run and said, if Sonya can do it, so can I. The scale may not say I've lost weight lately, but many had asked if I have. I look in the mirror and I see a smaller self. My stomach is less bloated, my arms don't have as large of "wings" as they use to, and my legs look stronger. Of course I wish my double 'no neck' days were behind me, but here's hoping with my continued running and veggie diet it will come with time.

I'm not going to lie though, I do get frustrated. Here I am running 3 times a week, and eating a vegetarian diet where I've had more veggies in the last 3 months than probably in the last 3 years, but still I'm not losing weight.  I guess that's what you get when you don't buckle down.  I do admit lately I enjoyed french fries and ice cream perhaps too much. These are my two tried and true coping foods, and when our dog died, you can bet I had them A LOT! I wish I could say I've found a new coping strategy to deal with stress/anger/sadness, but I guess I haven't. I know I'm still not ready to calorie count or count points again though so I shouldn't be surprised by the scale results. Afterall, you can't have your cake and eat it too but of course this is where I get frustrated yet again. I say I want to lose this weight, so why the hell do I still make those bad food choices? Gurrrrrrr. When will I learn? When will I finally believe I can do it and that I'm worth it?

Dole - I love you!

Okay, I have a confession to make, I'm currently addicted to this....

I wish I could say I didn't eat the whole bag in one sitting, but I'd be lying. I blame it on my coworker. She introduced me to this devil of a salad and now I can't stop eating it. It's the pefect lunch when working midnights. It's not too heavy, it's not too light, it's juuuuust right.  I've had a hard time figuring out what to prepare for work and with little time I've  been grabbing this from the grocery store on my way to work. I'm not kicking myself too hard considering I use to head to the drive thru on the way to work all the time, (so I'm a far cry from those days), but I'm sure the dressing isn't the healthiest...it's so damn yummy though! So, so good!

Friends, Family and Food

Howdy folks, how was your weekend? Mine was jammed packed with the three F's. Friends, Family and Food.

As I talked about in my previous post, my family  headed to the Lone Star for dinner for my father's 60th birthday. Thanks MirandaJayne for the advice on what to order, but sadly my sister was a bit apprehensive to have anyone order anything that came on a cast iron hot plate (ie. fajita). She feared my two year old nephew would touch it. As a result I ended up ordering Texas Taquitos. As stated on their website they are a

"southern-style spring rolls stuffed with Jack cheese, grilled corn, onions, black beans and cilantro in crispy wrappers served with a zesty chipotle plum dipping sauce".

There were four of them - pretty small but not the healthiest I know.

*sigh*

Luckily, I didn't feel like eating much else for dinner....mind you I sure  did eat a few flour tortillas and salsa though. Damn they were yummy! Of course pictures were taken during the birthday celebration - all made me want to vomit. Damn camera, why do you hate me so much? Here when I think I'm making progress and feeling skinnier, you never fail to slap me back into reality!

Oh well, sunday I ended up getting up early and headed over to my friend's geocaching event she hosted. It was fabulous. Wonderful food, lots of people, free swag and great giveaways. She really out did herself.  After breakfast my sister, friend with their spouses (and myself of course) headed out to find some caches that were placed for the 10 year anniversary. We hiked/walked for 4.5 hours through a conservation area!  It was a lot of fun (and time flew), but damn I was tired when we were finished. I came home and crashed. Lets just say I did not do my wonderful c25k run that day. Instead I took a trip to dream land!

Today I did get out there though and ran my butt off. but I have to admit I really didn't want to. My last two runs have been pretty brutal and that was with having 'walk periods' in between the running parts. Today was a full 25 minute run with no walking breaks. I kept thinking to myself, how the hell am I going to do this when I"ve struggled doing the last two runs so much?  Of course this led me to I procrastinate until 3:00pm. Then finally I said enough was enough and got out there. I did some extra stretching (and praying) and stuck on my runners and headed out the door. Thankfully the run was better than my last two and I finished without any major issues. I'm still pretty slow (although I have no idea what my real 'pace' is) but who cares? I did it! I ran for 25 minutes people! 6 weeks ago I found it hard to run for 60 seconds. Now that's improvement baby!!!!

I have to say I am proud of myself. I'd be lying if I didn't, but I also just keep looking forward and still realize I have a long way to go to get ready for my first 5K. I have to increase my speed, learn how to run hills etc..etc... Week 7 I'm going to start working on these things. Week 7 consists of three 25 minute runs. I think I'm going to try to run by the lake (where my first 5K will be) at least once to prepare myself a little more. My runs right now have always been around my neighbourhood which if fairly flat. The lake has more hills. It's going to be hard, but I have to try! I know it will only help in the end. I have a little over a month until my first 5K and I want to be as prepared as I can be!

My first Blip :-(

Did you know cream of broccoli soup has chicken broth in it??? I didn't...until AFTER I ate it. :-( Yup, that's right, I'm currently kicking myself! Ugh.... I should have known! I'm so so sad about it. I suppose a blip in my transition to vegetarianism had to happen sometime (although I really wish it didn't).. Lesson Learned - check all soup ingredients before purchasing/eating!!!!

Sorry I haven't been a very good blogger lately. I'm still feeling under the weather and currently working night shifts at work. My whole schedule just changed. The good news is that I now get a week off each month (yahoo!), the bad news is that all my 12 hour shifts are lumped together now in order to get that week off. This poses two new issues. One - When will I run? Before or after my 12 hour shifts and two, when will I get groceries! ugh.... Still not sure about either.

As I write this I'm just finishing up work for the night and I think I'm going to head home, go to sleep and then get up at 4pm and run. Fingers crossed it's not windy and cold as it was yesterday. I'm not sure what's going on around my neck of the woods, but the weather has been CRAZY. It's been shorts and t-shirt weather one day and the next I need my winter jacket back on!

Food wise I've been doing alright. I must confess I haven't been tracking. I suck at myfitnesspal. Entering in everything is so time consuming, but I promise I'll get back to it soon! EA Sport Active has taken a bit of a back seat lately too. I know, not cool...so I promise to get back at that as well!

Anyway, that's it for today. Time to get back to work!

Later gators! Enjoy your day.

Woo-Woo!

....and this is why we have goals in life ladies and gents! Even though today is a gorgeous day here in Ontario (16C/63F),  I really didn't feel like getting out there and running. I wanted to be a couch potato. I wanted to velcro my ass to the sofa and not move. I just wanted to vegetate. I've felt a bit tired and lazy lately because of the shift work and switching back from night to days. I also haven't run since Wednesday  and if I don't exercise for a couple days, the more I'm likely to not exercise in the future. Nonetheless,  I'm happy to report I didn't sit on the couch! Instead I got my fat ass off of it, and ran Week 2, Run 2 of the couch 25K program, Can I get a Woo-Woo!!!! Oh that's right, I rocked it!  I got up and out the door, because I remembered the goal I set for myself. I  remembered I can't let myself and my friends down who will be running the 5K with me at the end of the summer.  If it wasn't for that goal, I can guarantee I would have just continued to sit where I normally have for  far too long.

Yesterday I spent the day out shopping with my sister. She needed new tops as she's preggers (yay!!!!) and I needed new tops because my current ones are all worn and old. I ended up finding a few at Addition Elle, and Ricki's.  Most were 2X still, but one was an 1X and I even got an XXL from Ricki's.  I also bought a pair of size 16 (T/G just means tall length!) jeans for the first time in FOREVER. Can I get another WOO-WOO!!!!! Sure they are stretch material, but do I care? Hell no! They're still a size 16 and that's all that matters!

Regardless of the awesome sizes I am able to fit into lately, I must be honest and say my food intake hasn't been award winning in the last few days. I'm actually a bit embarrassed to share what I've had. No meat involved, but french fries, ice cream and onion rings somehow entered my body. I have no idea how, but they somehow ended up in my mouth and forcing themselves down my throat. How rude,  eh?
As a result, I've been thinking of signing up for WW online. I've usually gone to meetings when doing WW, but I think if I continue to blog and find support here, I might be okay not to. We'll see. I still haven't decided. I know I need to do something. No matter how much I work out, I still need to get my food under control or I'm never going to shed these pounds.  The thought of counting points for the billionth time though, is not my idea of fun. It's not something I've been able to sustain for long periods of time, so why do I want to go back?  I know it works, but I always fall off the wagon in the end? Will it be different this time?

Talking of Food, tonight I'm heading to my parents house for Easter dinner. I once again made Cool 'N Easy Mousse Pie. It's so yummy. It should be a nice time. Speaking of that, I should go and get ready! Happy Easter to all who celebrate!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Two More Recipes to Share

Well...my plan to sleep didn't work. I woke up at 10am despite staying up later than normal last night. As a result, I'm heading into work tired and with a headache. Oh joy, Oh fun...but I'll survive I suppose.

Despite my heavy head, I made my way to the grocery store this afternoon to pick up some ingredients for a new Easy Salsa Meatloaf Veggie Ground Round Loaf I planned to make and take to work with me. Once again I found the recipe on allrecipes.com and just substituted the meat for a vegetarian alternative. This loaf I didn't enjoy as much as my lentil loaf (as I think I added too much extra salsa), but it was okay and hit the spot.  Definitely easy to make! As you can see I added a little extra ketchup to the top!

I also made my favourite mac and cheese casserole  that I also found on the same website last summer. Oh it's to die for. It's NOT diet friendly at all,  but I wanted to use up the cheese I had in my fridge before it expired. Plus my best friend loves this dish so I made it anyway. I did use all low fat cheeses to make it a bit better so at least that's a good thing. The key to eating this dish right now is PORTION CONTROL!!!!!  Tonight for the first time ever I didn't have a heaping dish of it (or two or three). I just had a small amount as a side with my veggie loaf and spinach. Go Sonya Go!!!! lol.... I must say my tummy is thanking me as (still to this day) I never know how it's going to handle cheese.

I thought I'd share some pictures as I'm trying to get better at that.. I did  forget to take a picture of the spinach though. Oops!

Until next time enjoy....

Walk/Run/Walk/Run

Okay, so I have to admit I miss my crazy lady with the crazy eyes on my previous blog header. I wish there was a way to keep that header with this layout. For some reason the layout editing option on my old template didn't work....and apparently some blog readers couldn't comment either! What's up with that? Sorry dudes...I didn't realize until recently that little glitch!

Right now, I'm not 100% satisfied with this template either. I might change it again. I might not. We shall see. I think I'll keep my title though for now. It's been with me from the beginning so perhaps it's best I just stick with it. I did change the tag line though as suggested (thanks!). Yet again I'm not 100% satisfied the new tag line though. Hopefully, I'll think of something more creative in time.

ANYWAY......

In other news...I am pleased to announce that I got my fat arse off the couch again, and did another training session of the couch to 5K. Week 1, Run 2 - DONE! This time I ran alone around my neighbourhood. I tried to distract myself from focusing on the fact I was dying running by looking at houses (oh I like that one, oh that one is totally nasty) and checking out fellow runners who were kicking my ass as they jetted past me. Damn fit 50 year olds!

I must admit if nothing else though, I did 'feel' like a runner today. Is that even possible after only two runs? I mean, I had the ipod in hand, the jogging pants, zip up hoody and even the Olympic Canadian mitts on to inspire me! I even had some cool sunglasses on. Oh yes, I was styling!  If a car passed me while I was doing my 60 second run, I might just have fooled him into thinking I was a marathon runner...okay well....a girl can fantasize!

After the run, I decided to take my best friend Cookie's (who lives with me at the moment) dog for a walk. Poor thing. She had a stroke a few years ago and Cookie totally rehabilitated her. She couldn't even walk after the stroke and now she's pretty much back to normal. Sure she has a new swing in her step , but who cares? She's sexy with a limp! She's still one happy dog and that's all that matters. We had a great walk together although like Auntie Sonya she was pretty tired in the end.  I wish I could run with her, but she can't handle that anymore....mind you...maybe she could considering I'm only running for 60 seconds at a time ;-) Hell, she might even be able to jet past me too like those darn 50 year olds! I thought I'd share a few pics of me and the big girl...Yes, I look totally different in the two pictures shown...what can I say, I transform myself often!
Vegetarian wise.....I made spaghetti  for dinner using Veggie Ground Round and whole wheat pasta tonight Yum, Yum! Tomorrow I'm heading to the Mandarin (a.k.a. eat until you vomit chinese buffet) for dinner with the folks for my Grandmother's 85th birthday. It should be interesting as I usually fill my face on pepper steak, chicken balls and lemon chicken. Not this time baby...vegetable chow mein here I come.

Still Meatless

Well ladies and gents, I've been meatless for over a week! I am feeling so much better digestive wise *wink wink* and haven't been craving meat at all. Okay well, the bacon that my friend had on her burger did look tasty, but we all know how salty/fatty bacon can be. In other words....who needs it?! Plus, bacon comes from pigs, and I heart pigs and their cute little noses.

Yesterday I went to Wimpy's Diner for lunch after going geocaching (yes, a tad geeky, but I love it.) with friends. I had THE BEST veggie burger I have ever had. Way better than Harvey's Burgers or Licks for that matter.  I had to ask the waitress twice if it was 'for sure' a veggie burger. I could have sworn it was beef. Sadly I don't know the nutritional info on it, but man oh man, it was so good.
Tonight I made veggie shepherd's pie adapted from Steff's Shepherd Pie from All Recipes.com
All I did was use Yves veggie ground round instead of beef (which was surprisingly tasty btw).  I also decided to added one clove of garlic to the veggie ground while it cooked on the stove. I also added corn to the recipe, and I used peas this time instead of beans (although I've used beans before and it is just as tasty!). I used low fat cheese of course and reduced sodium mushroom soup as well.  I have to say I loved it!  The veggie ground fooled me just like the veggie burger did. It tasted just like beef.  I swear! Now I just have to watch my serving sizes, because I want more and more and more! Sorry for the ugly picture...but it gives you an idea of the delicious dish.

Today was suppose to be my first running training day, but it's raining out and well...I'm motivated, but not that motivated at the moment. I am planning a walk/run date with one of my girlfriends on wednesday, so I'm looking forward to that. I'm also planning to get back to the pool for Aquafit on thursday morning this week. I've been away from it for too long and I know I'll feel much better after going. This week although I've felt better, I'm still tired all the time. After geocaching I came home and crashed. I know once I start exercising again I'll feel that much more energized. Here's hoping anyway!

Meatless Wednesday and More

Still going strong with the whole new lifestyle. Veggie-R-Us.  I had yogurt for breakfast with bran buds, a salad and a few almonds for lunch. I then finished the night off with more delicious veggie loaf for dinner (with some extra veggies and dip for dessert). I have to say this was one of the best food days I've had in a long time. I made sure to get my protein in, so I wasn't hungry today at all, despite all the veggies I was eating. It was fan-freak'n-tastic ladies and gents. Everything was very filling.

Of course I have to remember (as my father did tonight for me while chatting on the phone) it's not only what you eat, but how much. I agree...and I'm getting there slowly but surely. I just have to remember to drink more water. Today (only having had three hour of sleep last night) my fluid intake consisted of coffee, diet coke and more coffee. Not good, but hey....I stayed awake, and lets face it....that was my goal!

I spoke to some colleagues at work about my new running goal. They of course all think it's awesome (I still think I'm crazy) I even had another running buddy offer.   At first I thought he was talking about just running the race with me in July (which is awesome), but later realized he was talking about even training with me....I thought well there's some motivation for me. Hot guy wants to run with me...hum....let me think for a minute....OKAY! With that being said though, I will not be running with him for a while. This is a dude who is a hard core runner. Need I remind you, I am not.  I do not want him having to do CPR on the sidewalk. That might be a tad embarrassing!   I know he would be super nice about running with a beginner, but the simple fact I'll be only running for 90 sec every other minute to start, I think I'll hold out on him for a bit. I can't let him see how completely out of shape I am, now can I?  I'm excited to now have three other people running the race with me though. It keeps me motivated for sure.

The Plan

Hey all....

So the little bump in the road became more like a mountain this past week. I'm not sure what happen, but  it did and we're moving forward. I've got new groceries in the fridge and a workout plan for this week so here's hoping I can get back to kicking some mega fat ass.

The plan:

  1. Drink LOTS of H20
  2. Stay inside my points
  3. Eat more protein

Workouts for this week planned:

  1. Yoga - Monday night after work
  2. Wednesday - walk/jog an inside track with a friend until we pass out.
  3. Thursday - new body exercise class  (not sure what this is, but my friend goes and I'm going with her)
  4. Friday - Zumba (not sure what this one is either, but I'm going)
  5. Saturday - aquafit
I bought a new pair of jeans today. I really didn't want to as I am trying to lose weight, but my two other pairs have holes in them now. I ended up buying a size 18. Here's hoping it's the last 18 I'll ever buy!!!!!  If I stick to eating right and working out I know it will be.  I just have to stay busy and social. If I've said it once I've said it a million times....being bored and lonely are my worse enemies when it comes to food. When I'm bored it's usually because I'm alone not doing anything. This then makes me feel lonely for the company of others. Most of my friends work 9-5 jobs which I do not, so the afternoons I find the hardest. When I'm lonely and bored...(especially when there is no food in the house) I eat and it always ends up being fast food. .... I have to stop this!!!! Stop the insanity I say!!!!! Enough is enough already!

I guess staying busy is easy enough. I could paint rooms in my house, organize stuff, clean, etc...etc....so it's more the alone thing I have a hard time with. I don't know why...I lived alone for 4 years and was fine (mind you that's when my weight ballooned so perhaps not). I guess I like being around people more than I thought.  This week will be nice because three out of the five workouts will be with my friend. She got me a seven day free pass to her gym so it should be fun!

Anyway, Canada vs. USA Olympic hockey is on TV right now. I must go and concentrate on that! Go Canada Go!!!!!

Made it through!

Yesterday I celebrated my sister's 34th birthday with my family. It was the dreaded KFC dinner. How did I do, you ask? Not too shabby I'd say. On my way to my sister's I went out and bought a sub so I could eat it, instead when my family was enjoying their meal.  I did have a couple bites of popcorn chicken, but hey, that's better than having that, plus three pieces of normal chicken, fries, gravy, and macaroni salad!   I didn't have any birthday cake for dessert either. Luckily it was black forest cake (which I hate), so I wasn't tempted at all! Score!!!

After dinner we watched the Olympic Opening Ceremonies which I loved. It's too bad they had the technical glitch, but what can you do? I was proud of all the work they put into it. Proud to be Canadian. I loved Shane Koyczan's Poem and the killer whales, and the Redwoods and the Rockies....Okay, well.....I loved it all.  While watching the ceremony, I did have some potato chips, but most were low fat. I didn't count them per say...but here's hoping I'll be okay. I do have a week to burn them off!

This morning I got up and went to my second aquafit class. At first I wasn't too sure about this class as we had a different instructor, but then it got better.  Once again I had a great workout. I just wish it was longer!!! The classes are only 45 minutes long.

Tomorrow I am working so will not be able to go to any exercise class which sucks (wait...did I just say that?).  Monday is also Family Day here in Canada Ontario (just found out it's an Ontario thing...silly me didn't realize), so the classes will not be going on then either. I guess I'll have to hit up Wii Active again or go for a walk.  Oh joy oh fun! I must say Yoga and Aquafit are so much more appealing now....but I'll do what I got to do!

Aquafit!

Yoga - Check
Aquafit Class - Check

I'm still sticking to my February workout schedule and loving it. I really enjoyed my yoga class last night and this morning I tried out Aquafit for the first time. It was great! I will definitely be going back.

Prior to going I talked to a few people who told me they didn't really get anything out of aquafit. Well dudes, you must have been going the speed of the seniors in the class (no disrespect, I love seniors), because I pushed it and man did I feel it! I truly believe you get what you put into it. I loved being in the water again and can't wait to go back on saturday.

Tomorrow I'm taking a day off from working out. I've done three days of exercise in a row and my body needs a break. My hips are SOOOOO sore!!!! I will not complain too much though because I don't want anyone saying what my cousin wrote me today. Her response.... "suck it up buttercup, it could be worse."  lol.... I suppose she is right, so I'll keep on trucking.

Food wise I'm doing pretty well. Actually I'm doing awesome compared to the fast food I use to eat. My fridge is packed with healthy foods and I'm enjoying them. I've had a couple salads, a egg salad sandwich, sweet potato fries, veggies and a new blue menu dip and so on and so on. I'm trying to eat a lot more protein and drink a lot more water. It seems to be helping. WI day is tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed I see another loss. I cheated and looked today and I was down. Hopefully it will stay the same for tomorrows 'official' weigh in.

Tonight I have a 'pot luck girl's night' planned with a few of my close girlfriends. Four out of the six of us are attempting to change our lifestyle and lose weight (and we're all kicking ass) so even though food will be around tonight, it most likely will be healthy - score!

Tomorrow night is a different story though. My family is celebrating my sister's birthday and although she has done WW in the past, she currently is not....so what does she want for dinner? KFC!!!!!! Can I say brutal? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE KFC, but it's not what I would call healthy. We usually go out for dinner so I could have picked something off the menu that was healthy, but this year she wants to order in. I already told her I might just pick up something different instead. Thankfully she understands and is okay with it. So here's to a couple good nights out with friends and family and attempting to be a 'good' girl with my food choices!
